What are High Assurance Schemes?

High Assurance Schemes are government-backed or internationally recognised programmes that rigorously evaluate security products to a proven standard. They provide confidence that a product has been independently tested, validated and engineered to defend against sophisticated threats in high-risk environments.

Where and when should you use them?

Use high assurance products when protecting critical assets, sensitive information or operations where failure would have serious consequences. They are commonly deployed in defence, government, national infrastructure, secure facilities, and environments handling classified or safety-critical data.

How HASC curates trusted schemes

HASC aggregates products only from recognised, reputable high assurance schemes around the world. Each product is validated against official sources, categorised by security domain and product type, and included in the catalogue only when its assurance status can be verified and traced back to an authoritative scheme.
